Artist Statement

When I am in one place I seek the other, somehow a part of me feels always lost. I’ve lived in three cities on three different continents, and always felt as if I was starting a new life while leaving another. As I walk through the streets of my present city, I strive to find something surprising yet familiar at the same time. I photograph connections between the reflected and real worlds to express my story of duality and contradictions. Art is a bridge to my happiness; yet I am still searching, longing to find a place I call home.
